Warner Brother Tour

Hello everyone ... Well it is Monday and we just got back from our tour of the Warner Brother Studios. It was fun. We got to see live sets, famous streets, props, and a few stars.

Entrance to Warner Brother Studios, featuring Daffy and Bugs

We started the tour with some backlot tours of shows we all know and love. We saw the set of Gilmore Girls, Pushing Daisies, Two and a half Men, Chuck, Friends and more. It was weird to see how small the sets really are. They look so big on TV. We took the deluxe tour, so we got more time to enjoy the sets and to get out more and walk around. Our guide Jeremy was very fun. As part of the tour, we got lunch at the commissary. I had the Mozzerella Flat Bread and a Chicken and Brie Panini, and Kirstyn had the Margherita Pizza. I wish I had my camera with me to take pictures of the food, but they keep them locked up in certain areas. After lunch, a surprise highlite of the tour was seeing John Stamos sitting having lunch. He is even cuter in person.

After lunch, we drove around some more, and visited some sound stages. We visited the live sound stage where they film Two and a Half Men, the courtyard of Chuck's apartment in Chuck as well as the Nerd Herds cage and Chuck's apartment. We got a peek at the stage of Pushing Daisies and got to say Hello to one of the guest stars of an episode, as well as the Dog Digby and a new character in the show (see the photo below). The tour ended with a trip to the Warner Brother Studio Museum. They had a floor dedicated to Harry Potter and also had the Sorting Hat there. I was sorted into Gryffindor, and Kirstyn was selected to Slytherin. I was happy, she was not. Kirstyn was happy to see the suit that Heath Ledger wore as the Joker. That was exciting.

Anyhow, we are back at the hotel now and not sure what we are going to do tonight. Just resting a bit first. So take care and here are some photos!!!

Set of an upcoming episode of Pushing Daisy's ... Look for a tall guy with black hair and wearing a purple suit. He said Hi to us!

Entry to County General Hospital in ER. Look for the guy with a fork stuck in him on the Halloweenn Episode ... Very Nice and Friendly.

Visit to the Central Perk set. Need I say more "Friends".

Our brush with the rich and famous. Here is Digby and a new character from Pushing Daisies .. out for their daily constitutional.
